The Caroline County Democratic Club is an intersectional, local, community-oriented, and community-run social organization. Our objectives are to support the Democratic Party and to advocate for progressive policies for our neighbors across Caroline County. Our focus is local, not only because our voices are heard the loudest in the smallest rooms, but because we are a Caroline County organization at heart. We do this with the hopes of one day living in a Caroline County that reflects our values of equity, diversity, accessibility, and sustainability.
Meet Our Board
President – Corinna Crenshaw (she/her)
Corinna has lived in Caroline County for as long as she can remember. She was raised with strong principles of equity and fairness, trying to bring them to every table she finds herself at. After 9th grade at NCHS, Corinna branched out to attend Chesapeake College until she graduated at 18 with her Associate’s. At Chesapeake, she was the secretary of the SGA, the VP of Service for the honor’s society, an honor’s student, a writing and American history tutor through the academic support center, published in the school’s literary journal, repeat attendee of the MCCADA student-leadership conference, and was president of a club (affiliated with the League of Women Voters) encouraging student engagement in politics and the democratic process. After her time at Chesapeake, she attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, earning a BA in sociology and anthropology, with her thesis focused on representations of disability in children’s narrative media. While at UPS, she interned at a local literary non-profit, took positions in two of the literary journals on campus, and, with the help of several on-campus groups and the university’s DEI coordinator, successfully fought for reforms in housing and student support for LGBTQ+ and disabled students. Corinna first became involved with the (at the time, inactive) Caroline County Democratic Club in January of 2025 and joined the Caroline County Central Committee in May of the same year. Today, she works as an instructional assistant in a local Pre-K-3 classroom in northern Caroline County.
Vice President – Mike Williams (he/him)
Mike was born and raised on the Eastern Shore. He was raised with the importance of community. He was raised Catholic, in the era of WWJD (What Would Jesus Do). He was raised to help those in need. He knows those values are still at the heart of our community. He knows, through discourse, we can again be a region guided by these values. So he joined the club in March of 2025 to do all he can to make sure that happens.
Treasurer – Signe Hippert (she/her)
Seasonal (immense) Help – Leslie Monter-Casio
Liaison to CCDCC – Jim Bardsley (he/him)
