Democratic Central Committees are the local governing bodies of the Democratic Party, responsible for organizing and promoting the party at the grassroots level. They play a crucial role in supporting Democratic candidates, voter registration, fundraising, and overall party building within their respective jurisdictions.
The Caroline County Democratic Central Committee (CCDCC) has 6 members. Led by Chair James S. Bardsley, Jr. with Board members Robert Thornton, Jr., Susan Andrew, Alan Mickelson, Corinna Jeanne Crenshaw, and Krista Anne Carter-Smith.
The CCDCC meets on the last Thursday of each month, at the Denton Public Library. Meetings start at 5:30, and usually end with a short closed session.
