Maryland Department of Disabilities
The Maryland Department of Disabilities (MDOD) leads statewide efforts to coordinate and enhance services for individuals with disabilities, promoting independence, inclusion, and full community participation. Working in partnership with all Maryland state agencies, MDOD advocates for consistent, integrated, and accessible service delivery that reflects the diverse needs of Marylanders with disabilities. Through programs focused on employment, housing, youth transition, community living, assistive technology, and transportation, MDOD advances equity and economic opportunity, strengthening both individuals and the broader workforce for a more inclusive and prosperous Maryland.
