National Down Syndrome Society

The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) empowers people with Down syndrome and their families through advocacy, education, and community engagement. With programs focused on Resources & Support, Advocacy & Policy, and Community Engagement, NDSS connects individuals to a nationwide network of over 300 local organizations, advances inclusive public policy, and supports dreams through scholarships and grants. From the iconic Buddy Walk® to grassroots advocacy and national awareness events, NDSS leads the way in promoting inclusion, shifting perceptions, and affirming the rights and potential of every person with Down syndrome.
